Dear Customers,

To our knowledge, fraudulent SMS messages supposedly sent from SEB Bank are currently circulated by fraudsters seeking to obtain customer log-in data for the Internet bank access. We urge you to be vigilant and avoid being trapped by fraudsters. Fraudulent SMS messages inform that a customer has received a message which is available at the link attached.

We recommend to refrain from clicking (opening) any link in an SMS and after opening the Internet bank page to check the browser address field: e-banking systems always use safe SSL/TLS communication protocol, the address necessarily begins with https, and the site certificate can be checked. A fake website address typically starts with http (without ‘s’).

Yours,
SEB Bank
