Investment program (strategy)

Objectives are achieved by investing a maximum share of funds in debt securities issued by governments, municipalities, state institutions, organisations and entities. The investment trend allows investing in units of companies with variable share capital (SICAV) which invest in bond markets. Also, it is possible to invest in money market instruments and deposits. For the purpose of risk management and an increase in the yield of investments by this particular trend, investments may be made in financial derivative instruments related to debt securities, interest rates, currencies or currency exchange rates, solvency of companies, etc.

Investment Team

At present, investments are made in JPM Global Strategic Bond fund managed by JPMorgan Asset Management (Europe) S.ą r.l. Directly or using financial derivatives the subfund invests in a wide range of asset classes: debt securities, government debt securities, debt securities issued by governmental agencies, public and regional authorities institutions and international organisations, corporate debt securities, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities (including also asset-backed bonds) as well as currencies. Issuers of the said securities may be from different countries, including the developing countries.

The bond subfund is advisable for investors seeking that long-term the absolute return on the investment portfolio would in different situations exceed the return of a relevant benchmark index as a result of capital gains and interest, thus medium-term capital loss probability would be lower due to the applied flexible strategy of investment diversification by various sectors.

The value of foreign currency investments is calculated based on the value of the fund’s investment units in euro. More detailed information about the fund is available at the website → Investor Tools → Fund Explorer → Search by fund name or ISIN (partial accepted → LU1193799209).

Risk of Investment Trend

The investment trend risk category has been determined based on the fund’s investment unit’s value change data, which may not be a reliable indication of the future risk category of the investment trend.

The subfund may invest in a limited number of securities issued by different countries, sectors or issuers, therefore, fluctuation of their return may be higher compared to that of funds with higher risk diversification. The subfund may invest in debt securities of sub-investment grade or in unrated securities. The subfund may invest a substantial proportion of its assets in mortgage-backed or asset-backed securities.
